Walk 4 Jesus Edmonton 2018

Christians all over Edmonton gathered at Millwoods Park Open Pavilion on July 7, 2018 to answer the call to unite for Christ and Canada at the Walk 4 Jesus.
Walk 4 Jesus Edmonton is a unity walk for Christians of all denominations. It is also a demonstration of collective, unified worship of Christ despite diversity.
The Walk 4 Jesus Edmonton started with an opening prayer led by Pastor Jean Figueroa of JRAM North Edmonton. It was followed by the singing of “O Canada”.
Joshua, a member of Ruwemi Ministries delivered a meaningful message about Jesus, our faith, and future glory. Ruwemi Ministries organized the event.
The event started an hour late due to rain. In the middle of the march, it rained hard again. Rather than stop or look for cover, the people instead continued on walking, singing, dancing, and praising Jesus under the heavy downpour. When the rain finally stopped, the participants’ praise only grew louder. The community started to go out – people took pictures of the marchers; some waved their hands in support; others watched out of plain curiosity.
The Walk 4 Jesus was a life changing experience. It was a rare opportunity to make a stand for Jesus and lay bare one’s unreserved allegiance to Him. In a glorious public display of commitment, it was truly a Saturday to remember.
As Pastor Joal Abada put it, “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of the night can stop us from Marching out for Jesus!”
Aside from JRAM Edmonton West leaders and members, the Walk 4 Jesus was also participated in by the JRAM Edmonton North Family, headed by Pastor Jean Figueroa and Pastor Macky Soriano.
