Pastoral Care Groups’ couples
rekindle love and commitment

At JRAM Edmonton West, every day is love day. However, February remains a favorite month for husbands and wives as it offers an opportunity to celebrate love in a more romantic fashion.

Couples from Pastoral Care Groups (PCG) celebrated love month differently albeit with singular goal – to strengthen marriages and stir up couple’s renewed commitment to Christ and to one another.

On February 9, the Christ Warrior Group of Pastor Jeff Arcenas came up with a marriage resolution, encouraging husband-wife tandems to commit to it and be guided by it.

On February 16, Pastor Joal Abada’s pastoral care group, God’s light of the world (GLOW), came in matching outfits and attended a couples’ seminar, #tweetlove. Facilitated by Pastor Joal’s better half, Dr. Abigail Abada, all the couples in attendance learned important relationship truths, and later enjoyed some games and prizes.

At 6PM on the same day, Pastor Letty Biscaro’s pastoral care group had a Hawaiian-themed dinner at Casa Laurel where everyone came dressed in bright floral outfits. They enjoyed sumptuous food, fun games, prizes, music, and laughter.

Here are some photos to mark the occasions.
