GLOWING TOGETHER

With the intention to strengthen their bond of love and faith in Christ, the four small groups under Pastor Joal Abada’s care, collectively called GLOW (God’s Light of the World), went camping at the Rustic River Resort on June 29 until July 2. Nine families and a singles’ group also joined the four-day outdoor fellowship that lined up various engaging activities for both the kids and adults.

The road trip began in the morning of June 29. The families who traveled first were the Sadies, Tan, Dumapal, and Abada.
On Day 2, June 30, the families visited the Wilderness Village to check out the animals – to the delight of the kids! They had the chance to ride the horses and interact with other animals. Everyone enjoyed every minute of their time at the village.
The night was capped off by a 20-30 minutes of fireworks display by the Rustic River Resort in celebration of Canada Day.
Day Three was a beautiful day of celebrating Jesus in an outdoor Sunday worship service. Pastor Joal Abada led in the word and worship gathering.

After the Sunday service, most of the families went to a nearby lake while others stayed to prepare lunch for everyone.

Sunday night was fish ball and smores night; it was also GLOW’s worship night. With his guitar, Pastor Joal started singing worship songs. Soon after, he was joined by others who gathered around the fire for some songs, singing, and smores.
Day Four, July 2, was another food fest. Families got their fill of unlimited lomi and pandesal, courtesy of the Quiapo Family and the singles’ group.
Without a doubt, it was a fun-filled four-day camping experience for everyone who joined the activity. It was a heartwarming gathering of families and groups to fellowship, bond, and spend time with one another. It was an intentional alignment with the vision of GLOW Family to unite, know one another, have fun, and grow with each other in the presence and guidance of our Lord Jesus.
By God’s grace, it is possible to Go to God, Grow with God, and Glow for God.
